Summer Articled Student (2019)
Alison joins Fraser Litigation Group from Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law where she holds many academic distinctions including the W.S. O’Hara prize for the highest grade in Criminal Law; the Alistair Fraser awards for Property, Public, and Tort law; and a position on the Dean’s List.
Alison is also involved in a range of volunteer and extra-curricular activities and has had the opportunity to act as an editorial assistant to the Dalhousie Law Journal, and as a research volunteer for the Nova Scotia Justices of the Peace. She has previously worked as Summer Director of the Dalhousie Student Advocacy Service, where she frequently appeared before the University Senate in defence of students accused of committing academic and code of conduct offences.
Following her graduation, Alison will be spending a year as a law clerk to the Justices of the Ontario Superior Court in Toronto.
